I am a psychology major, writer, youth advocate, and community educator dedicated to understanding human development and the ways lived experience shapes behavior and life outcomes. As a mother of five, my work is grounded in both academic study and real-life experience.
My advocacy focuses on supporting at-risk youth and examining the root causes that influence behavior, including trauma, environment, and systemic barriers. Through speaking, writing, and community engagement, I aim to bring awareness to the psychological and social factors that shape people’s lives.
My work is also deeply informed by my personal journey as a parent of a child with Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum(ACC), a neurological condition that affects the connection between the brain’s hemispheres. Navigating the challenges, gaps in services, and lack of awareness surrounding ACC led me to expand my focus into brain science, behavior, and the realities families face when systems fall short. This experience continues to shape my research, advocacy, and commitment to creating more informed and supportive pathways for others.
In addition to my academic and advocacy work, I am a certified death doula who provides compassionate support for individuals and families navigating end-of-life transitions. I also study herbal traditions and wellness practices, incorporating plant knowledge and natural approaches that support balance and overall well-being.
As a dedicated homeschooling mother, I foster curiosity, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking in my children. These are values that extend into all areas of my work.
My mission is to advance understanding, support, and opportunity through education, research, and community-centered work.
This space exists to share the full scope of my work and purpose from brain science and youth advocacy to women’s health, education, and community impact.
